During the 17th week of the year (April 22–28), the Chinese car market showed growth, and the well-known company Xiaomi appeared in the weekly top, which has been selling its Xiaomi SU7 cars for a month now.
Last week, 1,700 Xiaomi SU7 machines were sold. This is about the same as a week earlier, as carnewschina writes. At the same time, the company still ranks 11th in the overall ranking of the most successful suppliers of electric vehicles and hybrids.
BYD, as usual, took first place, selling 64,000 units, up 7.56% from 59,500 units the previous week. From April 1 to April 28, BYD has already sold 174,300 cars.
Tesla sales saw a significant increase in sales with 14,800 units sold during the week, up 184.62% from the 5,200 units sold in the previous week. Tesla's total sales for the period from April 1 to April 28 were 26,200 units.
Li Auto also posted strong growth, selling 7,100 units, up 57.78% from the 4,500 units sold in the previous week. Li Auto's total sales for the period from April 1 to April 28 were 18,800 units.
Huawei-backed Aito achieved moderate sales growth with 7,000 units sold, up 16.67% from the 6,000 units sold the previous week. Aito's total sales for the period from April 1 to April 28 were 17,900 units.
Zeekr rounds out the top five with sales of 5,000 units, up 56.25% from the previous week. Zeekr sold a total of 11,900 cars from April 1 to April 28.
If you look at the rating of only electric vehicles, the situation is as follows: Li Auto, Aito and Leapmotor are in the lead, and Xiaomi sold 5,800 cars from April 1 to April 28, taking eighth place.
