Today, right before the premiere of Xiaomi SU7 — the company's first car — Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has acquired the Tank 700 Hi4-T SUV.
This car was presented to him as a gift by Wei Jianjun, Chairman of the Board of Great Wall Motors. He arrived at the event as an invited guest. It’s interesting that Wei Jianjun didn’t leave without a gift: he received a Xiaomi SU7 Max and a Xiaomi 14 Ultra in addition, because the smartphone acts as a car key.
Wei Jianjun was not the only top manager of the Chinese auto industry who was invited to the premiere of Xiaomi SU7. Front row seats were taken by Li Bin (CEO of Nio), He Xiaopeng (CEO of Xpeng Motors) and Li Xiang (CEO of Li Auto).
