Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin confirmed that GAZ is working on a project for a new Volga.

«We are really looking forward to the resumption of production of the new Volga. At the end of March, the Gorky Automobile Plant registered the Volga trademark and is working accordingly», — the official said at a meeting with the business community yesterday. He also added that the new car is planned to be put into production in 2024.
