This is an inexpensive model, but it has a lot of memory: 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage

Motorola is apparently preparing to release a new smartphone, the Moto G85, which will be the successor to last year’s G84 model. One of the European retailers posted brief information about the new product on its website, although its full characteristics  and images are not yet available. Apparently, the Moto G85, like its predecessor, will be a mid-range smartphone. Its cost will not exceed 300 euros – it is listed on the website of the European store.

As for the characteristics, the Moto G85 page mentions only very decent amounts of memory for a budget device: 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The previous model is equipped with a 6.55-inch OLED touch screen with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, a main camera with a resolution of 50 MP and a 5000 mAh battery with support for 30 W wired charging. Most likely, the new device will have something similar.

The announcement of the Moto G84 smartphone took place in August last year, it can be assumed that the new Moto G85 will also be presented in August, only this year. Probably, the new product will immediately run Android 14.
