But sales have not started yet
The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 fitness bracelet will be significantly more expensive than its predecessor.
The new product has already been noticed in a store in Tanzania, where the device will cost approximately $100 in equivalent. For comparison, Fit2 at one time cost $60.
The rise in price in general is quite explainable by the change in form factor. Fit2 was made in the form factor of a classic fitness bracelet with a small screen, and Fit3 received a much larger display, so it can claim to be a smartwatch. Although Samsung is unlikely to call it that, given the presence of real smartwatches in the company’s product range.
Recall that according to recent leaks, Fit3 received an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 1.6 inches and a resolution of 402 × 256 pixels and will offer autonomy up to 13 days. At the same time, the new product will not have NFC, eSIM, or a speaker with a microphone.
