But it’s not just about high demand
Sales of the all-wheel drive SUV Jetour T2 started in Russia in early March, and the resource «Chinese cars» undertook to sum up the first results. A survey of dealers showed high demand for a car in the absence of various incentive programs such as discounts for trade-in or credit, but there are not enough live cars.
«We sold everything that was shipped to us, we could have sold more, we didn’t even have time to put it up for a client test drive, we are just resolving this issue. Today there are not enough cars, we are looking forward to the next deliveries, but in quantitative terms they will be small», — said an employee of the sales department of Smolensk «Premier-Auto». He added that not as many cars came to Russia as sellers would like.
The manager of a Kazan auto center describes approximately the same situation: «Cars are snapped up quickly. We have been selling Jetour T2 since the beginning of March and see active demand for it. To date, only 3 copies are up for sale».
Even less — only two Jetour T2 — exhibited in the salon of the Moscow «Vip-Product». They noted that there are no discounts on the SUV yet – neither from the importer nor from the showroom. Car – new, there are not enough cars, but there is demand.
Recall that the Jetour T2 became the first all-wheel drive vehicle in the Russian range of the brand. The SUV is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 245 hp. and a 7-speed «robot». All-wheel drive is connected automatically using the sixth generation BorgWarner clutch.
