It has no door handles or side mirrors
Hyundai's premium brand Genesis has unveiled images of the upcoming Genesis Neolun large crossover, which will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7. The company will not limit itself to pictures alone; Neolun will be shown live at the end of the week at the New York Auto Show.
In general, the Neolun has a Genesis look, but there are no longer twin separate headlights, instead they — huge LED strips that don't have enough space in the front (and therefore extend onto the sides). The car has no door handles, and instead of rear-view mirrors — cameras.
With a length clearly exceeding 5 meters, there are only four seats in the cabin, so the space is royal. In the production version everything should return to the 6-7-seater norm.
Neolun does not have a dashboard (many automakers rely on a projection screen), but the media system screen is very large, and two more screens are mounted on the ceiling for rear-row passengers. Not without an advanced acoustic system. The heat generation system in the cabin looks interesting: the front panel, door cards, seats and floor are covered with thermal film capable of generating heat.
The production Genesis Neolun will be designated GV90. The car, apparently, will enter the market next year with a hybrid power plant.
