They lack iGPU
AMD recently quietly released the Ryzen 7 8700F and Ryzen 5 8400F processors. They have been released only for China so far. There are already first reviews on the Internet, so now we can familiarize ourselves with them.
Recall that the Ryzen 7 8700F and Ryzen 5 8400F are Ryzen 8000 mobile APUs translated into the desktop segment, but unlike the Ryzen 8000G, these chips do not have a graphics core, so they are cheaper.
Ryzen 7 8700F is almost identical to the Ryzen 7 8700G (except for the iGPU), and the Ryzen 5 8400F is similar to the Ryzen 5 7500F, but there are differences in both the technical process (4 nm vs. 5 nm) and volume of third-level cache (16 MB versus 32 MB).
In the tests that were carried out, in the mentioned pairs the processors are quite close to each other, but the Chinese exclusives are slightly slower everywhere. In addition, there are no tests in games where the amount of cache memory is important. For gaming, it is better to buy full-fledged desktop CPUs from AMD, rather than desktop mobile chips.
