It will be sold at auction
At the upcoming Broad Arrow auction, a thirty-year-old Porsche 911 will be up for auction, which they plan to sell for $1–1.2 million. This is a special modification of the coupe, Turbo 3.6 S, of which only 90 units were produced. Of these, only 17 cars have some visual differences.
Porsche 911 Turbo with a 3.6-liter engine and 360 hp. the 964 body was produced within one year. Less than one and a half thousand cars were produced, but at the time of production completion Porsche still had about 90 chassis left. They were transferred to the Porsche Exclusive division, where they turned into sports cars in special exclusive versions. Most cars were equipped with the Flachbau, or “flat nose” option, and only a few had the standard front end design.
Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 S featured an upgraded engine, increased power to 380 hp, modified transmission, lowered suspension by 40 mm, stronger brakes and a slightly modified track car-style exterior.
What makes this particular car even more attractive is its design with a black body, interior and headliner. It's also one of only two 911 Turbo 3.6 Ss officially sold in Canada. The mileage of the car, released in 1994, is slightly more than 35 thousand km.
Previously it became known that a carefully restored and improved example of the Porsche 959 is being put up for auction, and they plan to fetch a record amount of about 3 million dollars for it.
