MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra – the most powerful hardware platform in the
segment
The January rating of AnTuTu flagships was topped by a smartphone based on SoC MediaTek Dimensity 9300, and the January rating of AnTuTu sub-flagships is also dominated by a model based on SoC MediaTek – This is the Redmi K70E, which is based on the Dimensity 8300-Ultra.
But if in the ranking of flagships the gap between Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is minimal, then in the ranking of subflagships Dimensity 8300-Ultra crushes everyone: Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 is simply not able to compete with it.
Qualcomm understands this, and is preparing a worthy answer: well-known insiders Ice Universe and Digital Chat Station attribute to the American company the intention to release two single-chip systems in March – SM7675 and SM8635 – mid-level, but with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 architecture and performance at the level of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Naturally, such SoCs will be able to surpass the Dimensity 8300-Ultra.
