The Great Wall motorcycle will receive the latest horizontally opposed eight-cylinder engine

The announcement will take place at the Beijing Auto Show

Great Wall Motors Chairman Wei Jianjun said the company will unveil a horizontally opposed eight-cylinder motorcycle engine at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.

Wei Jianjun said: «Motorcycle – it is essentially a toy and has great emotional value. We invite motorcycle lovers to give us more suggestions».

Wei Jianjun had previously teased the public with the announcement of a motorcycle. In a video review of Xiaomi SU7, he showed part of the appearance of the front of the motorcycle and published a video of the roar of the engine.

The car reportedly uses a cast frame, double wishbone front suspension and a horizontally opposed eight-cylinder engine.

The 2024 Beijing Auto Show will open on April 25.
