Together with the Preface L sedan, Geely today launched the hybrid Monjaro L (aka Xingyue L) on the home market. The crossover shares both the power plant and the CMA platform with the sedan, but the prices, naturally, are different, and the equipment is different.
The hybrid Monjaro L differs from the purely petrol version in the radiator grille and bumper, but these are spot changes that hardly change the familiar image.
There are still three 12.3-inch screens in the cabin, as well as (in the top version) a 25.6-inch head-up display with augmented reality support. A range of Level 2 driver assistance systems are standard equipment. The top version can be distinguished by its white leather interior, as well as the presence of atmospheric lighting with 72 colors and front seats with heating, ventilation, massage, memory and electrical adjustment. As in the sedan, there is adaptive cruise control, operating in a range from 1 to 150 km/h.
The power plant consists of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a power of 163 hp, a small electric motor with a power of 81.5 hp, which acts as a starter-generator and is connected to the wheels in rare cases, as well as a main electric motor with a power of 136 hp ., directly driving the wheels and equipped with a kinetic energy recovery system (by the way, with an efficiency of 97%). The hybrid Monjaro L accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and average consumption is 4.79 l/100 km.
In China, the hybrid is available in two trim levels priced at 23.7 and 25.1 thousand dollars. There are no plans for official deliveries of the hybrid Monjaro to Russia. At least for now.
