In 2022, AvtoVAZ began producing «torn» versions of Lada Vesta and Lada Granta – with minimal equipment. And now the «torn» Vesta is back on the assembly line: for almost two years AvtoVAZ has not been able to resolve the situation with the shortage of components.
«Since December 11, Lada Vesta cars have been rolling off the assembly line in a minimal configuration, without airbags and only in a sedan body. The exterior mirrors and door handles are matte black, and the interior is designed in the same style. The options that remain include air conditioning, ESP [electric windows] for all doors, heated rear window, and, of course, ABS. Every day, more than 600 cars are assembled over two work shifts, the color scheme is the same, white and black enamel, the promised "platinum" not yet observed», – writes the insider public Avtograd News.
