Valve periodically organizes demo festivals. Players noticed Backpack Battles and ended up buying the full version

Recently, an unusual PvP auto-battler, Backpack Battles, was released in Steam Early Access. The PlayWithFurcifer project was among the most popular at Valve's recent demo festival.

Over the weekend, Backpack Battles peaked online at 29,000 players on Steam. Feedback from those who have played is extremely positive, with a 96% rating after more than 1,600 reviews.

In Backpack Battles, players will have to purchase and upgrade items with various properties and then place them in their inventory. They then fight each other using the collected items from their bags. The battle takes place in automatic mode.

Backpack Battles made quite a statement at the festival on Steam, and now at launch – PlayWithFurcifer reported that it managed to sell more than 100 thousand copies in less than two days.
