Expeditions A MudRunner Game didn't come out in the best condition and received mixed reviews. Saber Interactive will try to correct the situation

Expeditions A MudRunner Game was recently released. The new game from the creators of SnowRunner and Mudrunner has divided the community.

Some who have played generally praise Expeditions A MudRunner Game, while others flatly refuse to accept the project as such. At the start, technical problems and a small amount of content were noted, all of which was reflected in user reviews. This led to the fact that this game (by rating) became one of the worst projects of Saber Interactive.

The developers of Expeditions A MudRunner Game presented the first patch with a photo mode, various fixes and QoL improvements. At the same time, they showed a roadmap: now the priority is fixing bugs, improving the user interface and experience, as well as refining the gameplay and adding a cooperative game mode. The second patch is expected to be released in March, and the third in April of this year.

You can often find claims online that Expeditions A MudRunner Game is just an “add-on for SnowRunner.” In a recent post on the Steam community, a representative from Saber Interactive clarified:

«We planned to create Expeditions with the same amount of content as SnowRunner, but with a new approach: off-road, access to new gadgets and an emphasis on exploration. To date, Expeditions features 80 missions and over 120 side quests across 9 different maps located in 3 different regions. The game features over 30 km² of traversable terrain, which is the size of SnowRunner at launch. In addition, we plan to add a lot of new content, missions, vehicles, tools, specialists, maps and much more“.

Also noted that support for SnowRunner itself will continue.
