The consumption of the purely electric version of Aito M9 turned out to be approximately at the level of the hybrid one
A Chinese blogger managed to test the latest Huawei Aito M9 crossover, both a hybrid version and a purely electric one. In both cases, it is a large (length is 5230 mm, and the wheelbase is 3110 mm) and heavy car, but, as it turns out, it consumes even less than a more compact car.
The blogger reported that he traveled a certain distance (judging by the duration of the trip, not very long) at an average speed of 87.7 km/h, while energy consumption was 22.1 kW·h/100 km. According to the tester, some other car – pure electric crossover 4.8 meters long – consumes more under the same conditions – 25 kW·h. The blogger also tested the purely electric version of the Aito M9, and its consumption was 22.4 kW·h/100 km at an average speed of 84 km/h.
Finally, the tester noted that as speed increases (and accordingly, as air flow resistance increases), consumption also increases: at a speed of 120 km/h, the purely electric Aito M9 consumes 25.6 kW·h/100 km.
Recall that this year Aito M9 will officially appear in Russia through the efforts of «MB Rus» – the former Russian office of Mercedes-Benz, which has a distribution contract for the supply of Aito cars to Russia.
