There are only two models in the rating – the full-size Tundra and the mid-size Tacoma
The American resource HotCars has compiled a rating of the most reliable Toyota pickups produced over the past 15 years. The list was compiled based on assessments by J.D. experts. Power, the reliability of each model is reflected in points based on a maximum of 100 points.
In first place with a score of 88 points out of 100 was the 2013 Toyota Tundra with a “face” similar to the Land Cruiser 200. In the USA, this pickup truck was offered with V6 engines (4 liters, 270 hp) and V8 (4.6 liters 310 hp and 5.7 liters and 381 hp). As you can see, in terms of engines, this pickup is also unified with the TLC 200.
Analysts have calculated that it costs only $642 per year to maintain this pickup truck, and the amount spent on maintenance over 10 years – $6738
In second place is also the Toyota Tundra, but it’s fresher – 2021 release (86 points out of 100). It already has a V8 engine in its database, maintenance costs for the year and for 10 years – 606 and 6738 dollars respectively.
The top 3 is completed by the Toyota Tacoma – the same 86 points out of 100. The cost of maintaining this machine is even less: $509 per year and $6420 for 10 years.
