The main camera has a single 50-megapixel sensor
Insider Steve Hemmerstoffer, known on Twitter under the nickname Onleaks, published the first high-quality renders of the Motorola Moto G Play 2024 smartphone. The future new product is noticeably different from the current generation model, especially with regard to the camera unit.
If the Moto G Play 2023 has three modules with sensors with a resolution of 16, 2 and 2 megapixels, then the Moto G Play 2024 has only one sensor, but a 50-megapixel one. And the camera block itself has noticeably changed – it seamlessly blends into the lid, much like the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
Despite the fact that the name contains the word Play, Moto G Play 2024 is hardly suitable for games: the device is credited with SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. The smartphone will also have a 6.5-inch IPS screen, a frame rate of 90 Hz and Full HD resolution, 8-megapixel front camera, 5000 mAh battery, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB flash memory.
Steve Hemmerstoffer has a long track record of creating reliable renders of various smartphones before their announcement. Such leaks include Samsung Galaxy S21, Huawei Mate 40, Pixel 5, Sony Xperia XZ4, Google Pixel 4 XL and much more.
