A potentially sportier version of the Kona Electric is due to arrive next year, combining zero emissions and sharper chassis tuning, as reported by  Carscoops.

The second-generation Hyundai Kona is offered with petrol, hybrid and all-electric powertrain options, but the sporty N Line variant is currently offered exclusively on combustion engine models. Now there is evidence that the sporty N Line trim will also be available with an electric powertrain. Spy photographers capture a Kona prototype that combines N Line badges with a quiet electric drivetrain.

Notably, the prototype does not appear to have the 2024 Kona N Line body kit. Instead, both front and rear bumpers closely resemble those of the standard Kona Electric, and the signature large rear wing and dual exhaust pipes are missing, which makes sense for an electric vehicle. The sportier version is marked by new alloy wheels, more prominent side skirts, a rear diffuser and hidden badges on the front fenders.
