At least the iPhone 16 Pro battery may remain almost unchanged
The new iPhone 16 line may not bring any drastic changes, but there will still be changes. For example, according to recent data, the Dynamic Island cutout will be reduced.
As we have said more than once, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models will grow in size relative to their predecessors. The first will have a 6.3-inch screen, while the second will grow to a gigantic 6.9 inches. At the same time, against the backdrop of enlarged screens, the reduced Dynamic Island cutout should visually appear even smaller.
But what’s not encouraging is the first data about the batteries. The iPhone 16 Pro prototype reportedly had a 3,355 mAh battery, which is only 2.5% more than the iPhone 15 Pro, despite the increased size. Perhaps, in the case of the younger Pro version, the additional space will «eat» tetralens, which will appear on the iPhone 16 Pro and which the iPhone 15 Pro does not have. Perhaps in the case of the iPhone 16 Pro Max everything will be much better, but so far there is no data on the battery for this model.
