As we already wrote, the company «Rutek» officially announced the Russian smartphone «R-Fon» on its own operating system «Rosa Mobile». According to the manufacturer, the new mobile device fully meets the needs of business, the public sector and industrial enterprises: «Rosa Mobile» guarantees maximum data security; the OS will be distributed only on trusted devices. In addition, the fundamental difference between «Rosa Mobile» is that the company's engineers themselves wrote drivers for such smartphone components as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc., so that the smartphone does not start «spying» for its owner, transferring confidential information to third parties.
«Rosa Mobile» complete with system applications such as phone, messages, settings, browser, gallery, clock, calculator and calendar. There is a single account «Rosa ID», which provides access to all products and services; when registering, you can use any personal or corporate e-mail. The smartphone is pre-installed with the application store «Rosa Market», a service for cloud data storage «Rosa Disk& (10 GB in cloud storage with expandability), «Rosa Messenger» for personal communication and for corporate communications, where all messages are encrypted, and a service for remote management of mobile devices of Rosa Control employees. The latter allows you to configure access levels for different users to the network and company files, if necessary, block the camera and microphone on the device, and if the device is lost, send a command to delete all information from it.
«R-Fon» was designed and developed by specialists of the Russian company «Rutek» from foreign industrial standard components. At the same time, its printed circuit boards, final assembly, testing, radio frequency tuning and software installation are made in Russia at Rutek’s own production facility. in Saransk, on the territory of «Technopark-Mordovia». The production capacity of the enterprise allows the production of up to several million devices per year. According to Dmitry Ivannikov, General Director of JSC «Rutek», the smartphone is recognized as Russian at the state level and is included in the relevant register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
«R-Fon» will become available for order in 2024, but applications can be submitted as early as December 18. In the medium term, the smartphone will be available in the consumer market. In addition, in the second quarter of next year, a service will appear for convenient transition from the most popular OS to «Rosa Mobile» — «Rosa Migration». Cloud storage «Rosa Disk» will not be limited to working only on its OS: native versions for Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS, as well as a web version, will appear next summer. In the first half of 2024, the «Rosa Payments» service will also be launched. for the implementation of e-commerce.
