An aggregator server has been patented for Russian aircraft. What is it for?

The computer will be part of the on-board equipment

In Russia, much has already been said about the fact that future aircraft (mainly fighters) will be able to operate as part of a group of drones. But how this will be implemented has not been reported. And now a patent describing the technology has appeared in the database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property.

The central element will be an aggregator server, which will be part of the aircraft’s on-board equipment. With its help, it will be possible to set the course of both an individual drone accompanying an aircraft and the entire swarm. The communication will be two-way: the server will receive data from the drones and transmit it to the pilot, and the pilot will be able to control the drones from the control panel through the server. The technology has been patented by the United Aircraft Corporation, a member of Rostec.
