Slavania still managed to be sent for release. The first players were able to join the domestic Metroidvania at a reduced price
Slavania was supposed to be released on March 12, 2024, but the creators at FrostLeaf Games ran into difficulties. Some players started cursing when they didn't see the game on the appointed day.
The creators of Slavania were able to release the game on PC on Steam a couple of days later. They decided to explain what went wrong – it turns out they just sent the build for review late:
«We sent the game build to Steam on March 8 , because until the last minute we were playtesting the latest build and looking for possible bugs. Just yesterday we received feedback from the moderators and made a number of small (and rather stupid in terms of requirements) corrections to the design of the Steam page. Fortunately, we managed to pass the secondary check that night.
Once again we want to apologize to our players and thank you all for your patience and support“.
< p>In the Russian metroidvania Slavania you can meet (and hear) Evgeny Chebatkov: the famous comedian got a cameo and worked on the voice acting of his character.
Until March 27 on Slavania in Steam has a 20% discount, those who bought the game before March 26th will receive a special skin.
