About plans to organize in «Technopark St. Petersburg» The company announced the production of unmanned aerial vehicles for fighting fires at the end of last year.
During the presentation, the director of «InFinTech Corporation» for relations with authorities, Nikita Dontsov said that in 2024 it is planned to produce a total of 500 UAVs, which are called «Smoke» and «Fog». But if necessary, the company is ready to quickly deploy additional production capacity.
Drone «Smoke» equipped with a customizable system for releasing loads of different sizes that contain fire-fighting substances and powders. Thus, it is capable of carrying two FinFire self-activating fire extinguishers. Among the advantages of this drone — high flight speed and maneuverability, say its creators. The UAV «Fog», in turn, can monitor fires in the city and beyond, as well as prevent their occurrence.
The first generation of firefighting drones can carry projectiles with powder to extinguish fires; such a device will fly to the site of the fire, drop a projectile with specialized powder and return back. In addition, the company has already begun developing a new type of UAV that will be able to lift fire hoses and break windows to save people.
