The battery is easy to remove from the case, but the screen is glued in very well, replacing it is not so easy
Yesterday the PBKReviews YouTube channel published the first crash test of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and today the hero of yesterday's video went for disassembly.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, like almost any modern smartphone, is disassembled from the back cover. Underneath it are 17 screws and a dozen cables. Motherboard — double-sided.
The battery is equipped with tabs to make it easier to remove, and this time there was no need to pour alcohol under the battery. But the screen is firmly glued in; removing it is not so easy. During the disassembly, they showed a large vapor chamber: the Galaxy S24 Ultra has 1.9 times larger than the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
In general, the Galaxy S24 Ultra received 9 points out of 10 for maintainability: if the screen had been easier to remove, the final score would have been higher.
