But this is not the end of the test
As reported by Aviatorschina, domestic seats for the economy class cabin of the imported SJ-100 aircraft have been tested for horizontal impact. This is only part of the tests, they will have other tests in the future as part of the qualification program.
Recall that the first attempt to qualify domestic seats for the SJ-100 was made in December last year, and it failed. After this, the seats were modified, and at the end of January they were sent for the second round. However, the tests failed the second time, and for the same horizontal impact with an overload of 16G — the structure collapsed and the chairs broke the mannequin in half.
After this, the chairs were modified again, and the third attempt was finally crowned with success: the power structure withstood a longitudinal impact corresponding to an overload of 16G.
