“A little more comfort compared to the 500”
The No Limits correspondent, who is now in China, tried out the new hybrid SUV Tank 700 Hi4T, which will appear in Russia, and shared his impressions.
This car will not only appear on our market, but will do so very soon. The car is built on the basis of the Tank 500, but is positioned as a more powerful sports modification. Under the hood is a 3.0 V6, which, paired with electric motors, produces a total of 520 hp. This is also a parallel hybrid, which can travel up to several tens of kilometers in electric train mode. However, the main task of the electric motor is not so much to save fuel as to simplify the acceleration of this colossus.

In China, only the hybrid version will be sold, and for Russia they want to offer a purely gasoline modification, but its characteristics have not yet been announced. Journalists were invited to try out the hybrid version.
In terms of driving habits, the frame car with a high center of gravity, predictably, turned out to be very rolly. It is difficult to understand the nuances of the air suspension at the test site, but it is subjective – yes, it added a little more comfort compared to the 500. The dynamics, frankly speaking, are not outstanding for the declared 520 horsepower, but here the problem could be in the battery that was completely drained by journalists.
No Limits
The salon is decorated using leather and expensive materials, and velvet lining is used on the ceiling. A screen is installed instead of a rear view mirror.
The new product will appear in Russia this year.
