April 17, we started accepting pre-orders for the new Huawei Aito M5 crossover, available in versions with electric and hybrid powertrains. During the first day, more than 6,000 pre-orders were placed.
At the moment, Aito has not yet revealed the specifications of the new Aito M5, but it is known that the new model will receive an improved smart driving system. The official launch will take place on April 23.
Aito M5 became the first model of the brand released in 2022. In addition to black and gray exterior colors, the new car will have a new red color. Consumers can choose from three different models: EREV Max RS, EREV Max and EV Max.
We have already noted that from the side the car looks like a Porsche Cayenne, but when viewed from the front the similarity decreases significantly. The new Aito M5 will also feature black five-spoke wheels with red calipers.
According to the China Passenger Car Association, the Aito M5 sold 395 units in March, accounting for 1.62% of Aito sales. This allowed the model to take 202nd place in crossover sales, dropping 86 positions compared to February. Additionally, March sales of Aito M5 fell 82.77% YoY and 56.4% MoM.
