KamAZ presented a budget version of its flagship (54901) — new generation two-axle tractor 54902, which differs from the older model in a more compact cabin. It is smaller in height and width, and is equipped with one berth instead of two. The machine is intended for regional use.
The car is equipped with a 400-horsepower engine, and the total weight of the towed semi-trailer is 36,250 kg. Let us remind you that model 54901 received a 482-horsepower engine. The new product is equipped with a 13-liter KamAZ turbodiesel, and a more compact engine that was previously branded Cummins. After the departure of the American company, the Chelny plant produces such engines independently.
KAMAZ continues to develop the new K5 family, several dump trucks with 6×4 and 8×4 wheel arrangements are ready, which should soon be accompanied by a delivery truck, a three-axle regional tractor and other modifications.
Previously, KamAZ announced a 450,000-kilometer warranty on new trucks.
