In the Moscow region, a former plant of the French company Michelin will produce crumb rubber. The project will be implemented by a new legal entity «Davydovo», formed on the basis of the Michelin enterprise after the purchase of its Russian assets by domestic investors.

Today the company «Davydovo» has already put into operation several workshops for processing, recycling and retreading of car tires. However, the construction of a full-scale closed-cycle plant for recycling and processing tires into rubber crumb is planned ahead.

Upon completion of all work, the new enterprise will be able to produce about 15,000 tons of crumb rubber annually. The total investment in the project will be 244 million rubles. Of this amount, 150 million rubles will be provided in the form of a preferential loan from the Industrial Development Fund of the Moscow Region.
