Macs are getting even more gaming-ready. Thanks to Game Porting Toolkit 2 and AVX2 support, running Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Game works fine

Apple's Game Porting Toolkit 2 supports AVX2 instructions so you can run more games on your Mac. AVX2 support is also included in macOS Sequoia. And it really works, as you can see in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

But the M3 Max in this mode produces about 100 fps. If you look at the tests of video cards in this game, 100 fps in Full HD at maximum settings is provided by adapters of the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB or Radeon RX 6800 level (which is faster).
