But it looks like there won’t be a second game
Production of the Lada X-Cross 5 in St. Petersburg at the former Nissan plant started with fanfare last summer, but since then nothing has been officially said about this car, and insiders pointed to problems with the partner &ndash ; FAW (Lada X-Cross 5 – the same FAW Bestune T77, only with a branded rook on the emblem). Now AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov spoke about the fate of the Lada X-Cross 5.
«The fate of the first batch [Lada X-Cross 5] worthy… it was distributed to our corporate clients. And I took a couple of cars, as they say, for myself, so in Togliatti I drive exactly in this car», – said the head of the company. Maxim Sokolov also added that a total of 170 copies of the crossover were produced.
What's next? Apparently, nothing: AvtoVAZ, although it is not talking about stopping cooperation with FAW, is not commenting on further plans for this model.
