It will be the largest crossover in the Evolute line
Yesterday evening, the Russian brand Evolute published a teaser image of its first hybrid car on its Telegram channel: on a black background only expressive front optics are shown, connected by a luminous strip. However, the secret did not last long: very quickly in this «light» identified the Dongfeng Fengon E5 crossover (aka Fengon Landian E5, aka DFSK E5). Essentially, Dongfeng Fengon E5 is a hybrid version of the Dongfeng 580 crossover.
The car, although medium-sized, is quite large: dimensions– 4760 x 1865 x 1710 mm, wheelbase – 2785 mm. In China, the car can be either 5- or 7-seater, but which version will be produced in Russia – unknown yet.
The power plant is built around a 1.5-liter turbo engine, its power is 177 hp. The crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, the maximum power reserve – 1150 km (power reserve on pure electricity – 110 km), declared average consumption – 5.5 l/100 km.
The interior of the crossover looks cozy and laconic, equipped with a digital dashboard, a media system with a large screen and Huawei OS, a sound system with 12 speakers, keyless entry, a face recognition system.
