At the same time, journalists refuse to admit that they made a factual mistake and continue to insist that they were misunderstood

Not long ago, the French editors of IGN released a preview, the author of which criticized the design of the main character of Stellar Blade, doubting that the person working on it had even seen a real girl at least once in his life. Quite quickly, gamers commented on the publication on the IGN France website and on social networks, pointing out the editors’ incompetence and reminding them that Eva was based on a real Korean model.

Later for some time the editors slightly changed the text of the material: the lines “A doll, sexualized by a man who has never seen a woman” were replaced by “Doll , sexualized by a man who, apparently, has never seen a woman.”. IGN France also stated that the editors and the author of the article began receiving death threats. No one brought any evidence.

“The original text contained inappropriate comments. Although we did not even think of offending SHIFT UP, the studio staff and their work, we understand that the phrase was taken literally and we regret it.”.
