Quite quickly, gamers commented on the publication on the IGN France website and on social networks, pointing out the editors’ incompetence and reminding them that Eva was based on a real Korean model.
Later for some time the editors slightly changed the text of the material: the lines “A doll, sexualized by a man who has never seen a woman” were replaced by “Doll , sexualized by a man who, apparently, has never seen a woman.”. IGN France also stated that the editors and the author of the article began receiving death threats. No one brought any evidence.
Today, IGN France decided to make an official apology to the SHIFT UP studio and its employees.
“IGN France recently published a preview of Stellar Blade that contained an offensive passage that should not have been there. The text has been edited.
