The investigation into the incident continues
A design engineer at AvtoVAZ JSC became a defendant in a criminal case, as Kommersant writes, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.
The woman is accused of illegally obtaining and disclosing information that constitutes commercial, tax or banking secrets (Part 3 of Article 183 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The suspect’s activities were stopped by officers from the Russian FSB Directorate for the Samara Region, who reported that an AvtoVAZ employee provided information constituting a trade secret to third parties “out of selfish interest.”
Details have not yet been disclosed, but the investigation into the case continues.
