Clients of third-party banks will need to link their card to the service once and enter their phone number
The Tinkoff Bank team announced the upcoming significant expansion of the functionality of the Tinkoff Pay payment service. As the press service said, the Tinkoff Pay instant payment service will become available to clients of all Russian banks for online payments by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
Before this, only Tinkoff clients had the opportunity to use Tinkoff Pay. Nikita Buklish, Product Director at Tinkoff Pay, spoke about this at the Tinkoff eCommerce 2023 conference.
Tinkoff Pay allows you to pay for purchases online without entering card details. To make a purchase, you need to click on the Tinkoff Pay button on the website or in the application and then enter the service: using a PIN code, using a fingerprint or facial recognition.
To pay with Tinkoff Pay, clients of third-party banks need to link their card to the service once and enter their phone number. This can be done in a special form, which will open when you click on the Tinkoff Pay button on the payment page. After this, the purchase will be made by clicking on the Tinkoff Pay button. To enter the service, you will need to enter a PIN code or use facial or fingerprint identification.
