Laptops shown at Computex 2024
MSI showed several laptops based on Intel Core Ultra processors built on the Lunar Lake architecture. The chips have been presented, but they have not yet entered the market; the launch is expected in the second half of 2024. The demo samples at the company's booth at Computex 2024 were covered with glass covers. However, the manufacturer provides some technical characteristics.
MSI showed three Prestige models: 16 AI+ Evo, 14 AI+ Evo and 13 AI+ Evo — as well as Summit 16 AI+ Evo. The screen sizes are clear from the names of the models, but the first and last «Prestige» there will be versions with an OLED screen, and the 14-inch one will be released only in the «IPS-Level» version, like the 13-inch Summit.
Only the 16-inch version of the Prestige will get the Core Ultra 9 chip, the rest will get the Core Ultra 7. All four models will have a 5-megapixel webcam with an IR block to support Windows Hello.
All of these laptops are also Microsoft Copilot+ compliant, allowing you to run Microsoft AI tools locally on them. The keyboards also have a dedicated Copilot key.
The manufacturer does not name the price or start date for laptop sales. The latter, obviously, depends on when Intel Lunar Lake processors become available to him.
