The Toys for Bob studio, which has been working in the wings lately, helping with Call of Duty, will go out on its own

Toys for Bob is going to leave Activision, becoming an independent studio. This was announced by Toys for Bob itself.

“This opportunity allows us to return to our roots when we were a small and flexible studio. To make this news even more exciting, we are exploring a possible partnership between our new studio and [Parent Company Activision] Microsoft. And although we are in the early stages of development of our next game and are far from making any announcements, our team is looking forward to new stories, new characters and new gameplay.”.

Toys for Bob worked on Crash Bandicoot as well as the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Lately the team has been helping other Activision studios with Call of Duty.
