A couple of days after the official premiere of the car
The first buyers of the BYD Qin L sedan received their cars in China — just two days after the official premiere and start of sales. The cars were handed over in a solemn atmosphere; the importance of the event is emphasized by the fact that the keys to the cars were handed over by President Wang Chuanfu himself.
BYD Qin L — the company's first car based on the fifth generation DM hybrid system: it provides an average consumption of 2.9 l/100 km, and the total range of a fueled and charged car reaches 2100 km according to the NEDC measurement method.
Specifically, the BYD Qin L has a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 100 hp, and the power of the electric motor is either 163 hp. (in the basic version), or 218 hp. (in the top version). Accordingly, the capacity of the traction batteries and the range vary: 10.08 kW·h and 80 km in the basic version and 15.87 kW·h and 120 km in the top version.
BYD Qin L turned out to be quite spacious: the dimensions are 4830 x 1900 x 1495 mm with a wheelbase length of 2790 mm. The car is equipped with a media system with a 15.6-inch screen, climate control, cruise control, various driver assistance systems, and an NFC key. Prices — from 13.8 to 19.3 thousand dollars.
