It will cost less than $35,000
The Li Auto L6 crossover was spotted in China during the filming of commercials. This is an entry-level crossover with an LFP battery and an electric range of 172 km. It will hit the market this April and will be priced between $34,700 and $41,600.
In 2023, Li Auto sold more than 370,000 vehicles. The current lineup includes the recently launched Mega minivan and three L-series hybrid crossovers: L7, L8 and L9. The brand's current bestseller is the Li L7, with more than 130,000 units sold last year. Li wants to boost sales by adding an entry-level SUV to its L lineup.
This is a car with dimensions of 4925 × 1960 × 1735 mm with a wheelbase of 2920 mm. The curb weight is 2345 kg. There are five seats inside. Under the hood it has a 1.5-litre turbocharged L2E15M engine producing 113kW. This internal combustion engine is manufactured by Power Xinchen, which also supplies BMW engines in China. L6 — the first Li-brand car to use an LFP battery. It is equipped with a battery manufactured by CATL with a capacity of 35.8 kW·h.
There is no official information about Li L6 electric motors. According to Chinese sources, the car will have all-wheel drive with two electric motors of 130 and 200 kW. It will also likely feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8295 chip.
