The game will be released this year
The Czech studio Warhorse Studios announced the continuation of its games Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which is sometimes called the Czech “Witcher.” The second part was expectedly called Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and will be released already this year.
The game is already listed on Steam and Epic Games Store, but there is no exact release date and price yet.
In the second part, players will have to continue the journey of Jindrich (in the English translation he was Henry) — the main character of the first part. The developers promise to maintain their signature humor, but the new game will be darker and more violent. The action will still take place in medieval Bohemia, but new adventures will lead the main character to a big city (Kutná Hora), which was not the case in the first part.
The project was created on CryEngine, like the first part. Except that now this is the fifth version of the engine. System requirements have not yet been specified.
The authors say that the new game will be approximately twice the size of the first part, noting that by this they mean an increase in everything: the map, quests, dialogues, NPC life simulation, and so on.
The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. By the way, the first part was recently noted for its sales of 6 million copies.
