Brake system manufacturer – Brembo
Bugatti took its coolest hypercar, the Bugatti Bolide, for testing: the car is tested in wet conditions on the track in Imola — racing ring «Formula 1» named after the brothers Dino and Enzo Ferrari. A special feature of the car, in addition to its impressive W16 engine with four turbines (the power of this system is 1826 hp), were the brakes. In fact, the Bugatti Bolide received the largest carbon brakes in history, and they were manufactured by Brembo.
Braking force is provided by «carbon-carbon» Brembo system: eight-piston calipers are installed at the front, — at the rear. six-piston. Both are made of nickel-plated aluminum. Each wheel has four pads, the diameter of the brake discs — 15.3 inches or 38.86 cm. Front brake disc thickness — 37.5 mm, rear — 34 mm.
