Dongfeng is ready to launch the brutal Mengshi M-Hero 917 SUV in the new L version: as in many such cases, the letter L means a stretched car (from the word Long). Specifically, in this case, the increase was 20 cm and occurred at the back.
Mengshi M-Hero 917L was declassified by the Chinese Ministry of Industry. Certification of the machine automatically gives Dongfeng the right to launch sales. This will most likely be announced during the Beijing Auto Show next week.
The dimensions of the Mengshi M-Hero 917L are 5187 x 2080 x 1999 mm, wheelbase — 3150 mm. For comparison, the dimensions of the regular version, which is now sold in Russia: 4987 x 2080 x 1935 mm, wheelbase — 2950 mm.
Externally, the SUV has remained virtually unchanged, and the increase in length is only indicated by the stretched rear doors and a slightly modified roof panel, on which side lights have appeared. At the moment, the hybrid — in addition to the 1.5-liter internal combustion engine, it has three electric motors producing a total of 815 hp. It is not yet clear whether the purely electric version will have a stretched version.
