Famous smartphone strength tester Zack Nelson published a new video on his JerryRigEverything channel in which he subjected the new flagship smartphone RedMagic 9 Pro to severe tests.

Nelson ran his standard “durability” tests to see how the device held up to scratches, burns and bending.

Currently, the scratch test is almost the same for all smartphones, with the exception of foldable ones. All non-folding screens are covered with protective glass, which is scratched only by material with a hardness of at least 6 on the Mohs scale, and deeper grooves appear at level 7. RedMagic 9 Pro also showed such results.

After exposure to an open fire, OLED displays behave roughly the same: the affected pixels turn white after a while (usually about or less than 30 seconds, in this case 20), and then recover, although not completely.& nbsp;

Not all smartphones pass bending tests, and especially – gaming However, the Red Magic 9 Pro survived without any problems after attempts to bend it in both directions and the integrity of the structure was not compromised.

Recall that RedMagic 9 Pro debuted in China at the end of November, has already taken first place in the AnTuTu rating for performance, and the other day the model was announced for Europe and the USA. < /p>
