Geely has published official photos of its petrol crossover Geely Coolray Super Power Edition, which was announced this week. Expected to launch in July, the estimated price will be around $8,300.
Geely Binyue was first introduced in 2018. According to Geely, approximately 890,000 units have been sold worldwide in the six years since its launch.
Geely Binyue Super Power Edition is built on the Geely B-segment modular architecture (BMA) platform and is positioned as a compact crossover. The front fascia is designed based on the Super Power Storm language with multi-layer grilles: a smaller grille on top and a larger trapezoidal grille on the bottom. The car is equipped with silver 17-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.
Power will come from a new 1.5L direct injection engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or CVT. The engine has a maximum power of 93 kW (126 hp) and a maximum torque of 152 Nm. Fuel consumption is 6.89 l/100 km.
The interior features a classic black and gray color scheme combined with black leather seats, a leather multifunction four-spoke steering wheel, an 8-inch central control screen and instrument panel.
Below the central control screen is the air conditioning unit and control knobs. The center console houses the gear shift lever, physical buttons and cup holders.
Geely Binyue Super Power Edition has already been spotted at a dealership in China.
