This is a big increase in a year
Sales of Huawei smartphones are growing, the company is actively switching to its own Kirin SoCs, and as a result, Hisilicon reportedly shipped 8 million single-chip systems to the market in the first quarter of this year.
The division's revenue was $6 billion. For comparison, Google delivered 2 million platforms worth $2 billion during the same period.
But the Chinese giant is still a long way from Samsung. The former boasts shipments of 18 million platforms worth $9 billion.
Next in the ranking are Unisoc, Apple, Qualcomm and MediaTek, if we talk about quantitative terms. And in terms of money, Apple leads, followed by Qualcomm, followed by MediaTek, Samsung, HiSilicon, Unisoc and Google.
It can also be noted that supplies increased for everyone except Apple and Samsung, and revenue increased for everyone except Apple.
