Rostec announced today that the Russian medium-haul passenger airliner MS-21 will be able to land even in zero visibility conditions.

«Automatic landing system, which was equipped with the Russian medium-range aircraftyet MC-21-310, &amp ;nbsp;can recognize the runway in conditions of almost zero visibility and smoothly bring the car to it», — explained in Rostec. It was previously reported that the control system providing automatic landing, as well as its software algorithms, were developed in Russia.

MS-21-310 has already made an automatic landing under category III A of the International Civil Aviation Organization. This flight opened the factory testing program for the automatic landing system, which will be followed by certification.
