Vivaldi 6.5 for iPhone and iPad brings a custom address bar and tab bar
The team of the increasingly popular Vivaldi browser announced the release of the Vivaldi 6.5 update for computers running Windows, Linux and macOS, as well as Apple mobile devices based on iOS.
The update brings quite a lot of innovations and changes, including a session panel, full synchronization of browsing history, workspace rules, improved notes and synchronized open tabs.
The ability to save open tabs in a session has existed in the browser for a long time. The new version of Vivaldi has a new tab — sessions panel, in which you can not only view all saved sessions, but also edit them, removing or adding tabs, changing the session name and much more.
Now the entire browsing history is synchronized in the browser, regardless of what device you opened the pages on. Previously, only entered addresses and search queries were synchronized, now synchronization of browsing history has become full. In addition, now synchronized open tabs from other devices are displayed in the address bar drop-down list and are available in the sidebar of windows.
Another innovation is the ability to configure the movement of tabs between «spaces» according to rules pre-specified by the user. The developers have also added the ability to add selected text to an existing note. And this is not a complete list of innovations in desktop Vivaldi 6.5.
Vivaldi 6.5 for iPhone and iPad brings a customizable address bar and tab bar. You can now place the address bar and tab bar at the bottom or leave them at the top. You can also change the order of search suggestions. You can personalize your browser's start page by adding your own images as wallpaper or choosing one of the preloaded images.
