With Dimensity 7200, 6.67-inch screen and 80W fast charging
In addition to the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro smartphones presented today, the Chinese company announced another model in the – Vivo S18e. It differs from older models both in its design (flat edges, round camera module) and in simpler characteristics: a weaker processor, a smaller screen, simpler cameras, etc. In addition, the device is somewhat thicker and heavier than other representatives of the line: its the thickness is 7.69 mm, and the weight – 193 grams.
Vivo S18e is built on SoC MediaTek Dimensity 7200, equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of flash memory. The smartphone runs Android 14 OS with the OriginOS 4 interface. The device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 1800 nits. The main camera of the Vivo S18e has a resolution of 50 megapixels (there is also an additional 2-megapixel module) and supports optical image stabilization; front camera resolution – 16 MP
The smartphone is equipped with a 4800 mAh battery with support for 80-watt fast charging. There is also a fingerprint sensor and NFC support. The device is offered in three colors: black, light purple and silver. The option with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory costs 2,099 yuan (about $296) in China, and with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory – 2,299 yuan (about $325). Sales will begin on January 13, 2024, simultaneously with the older models of the series.
