The car will be presented only next year
The Audi Q9 prototypes that were spotted during winter testing are actually the next-generation Audi Q7. carscoops writes about this with reference to reliable informants.
A prototype was recently spotted undergoing testing in Europe. He was heavily camouflaged. The crossover has a different radiator grille with a characteristic pattern. The prototype also featured new lighting fixtures and a larger lower air intake with a honeycomb mesh insert.
It can be seen that the car has flush-mounted door handles. The rear has a redesigned bumper as well as a traditional tailgate. The dual exhaust system and taillights are also visible.
Spy photographers have yet to get a look inside, but the interior is expected to be inspired by the soon-to-be-unveiled Q6 e-tron. The crossover can be equipped with an 11.9-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.5-inch infotainment system. These could potentially be joined by a 10.9-inch display for the front passenger.
Petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid variants are expected in the lineup. The facelifted Q7 could be introduced next year as a 2026 model.
